Restaurant Recs near airport

Hello Houston Nesties!

My husband and I are from Washington state and will be traveling to Houston. We are going on a cruise that leaves out of Galveston. We're staying the night in Houston mid January. Our hotel is by the airport and we plan to travel to dinner by taxi . Would love any restaurant recs you may have. We're open to any kind of food. What are your favs?
