Baby shower brunch locations Mystic area?

Hi all,

 I'm working on planning a shower for a friend. We want to do a brunch somewhere in the Mystic/Groton area (or any nearby town within 30 minutes, I'd say). Does anybody have any suggestions? So far I've heard of Stonecroft Inn, Taber Inn, and the Flood Tide. What other places might be good to check into?

    I've been to a bridal shower at groton inn and suites and it was nice!! Also, I love this restaurant "Philomenas" in Waterford and the food is amazing and they do private parties in a seperate room!

    The Seamen's Inne (at the Mystic Seaport) is under new ownership, and I've heard it's for the better.  The Floodtide would be good and they have a fabulous view, if maybe a little $$.  It's funny, I keep thinking of all these places but none that are necessarily good for brunch...  I went to a shower at Go Fish (in the Old Mystic Village) that was very nice, but again- maybe not the best for brunch.  I'll try to think of more.

    I had my wedding at Stonecroft. The food there is amazing and the staff are all WONDERFUL! They also have a really nice garden off the patio with seating that would be nice in the summer.

    Hi,

    Were you able to find a place for the baby shower?  I am looking in the same areas and haven't had much luck.  When we called Taber Inn they said the event room was only for guests of the inn.
