Camera Recs?

Our camera was recently stolen at my husbands work Christmas party. :( Luckily it was our "cheap" camera but I'm still bummed. I like having a little camera to keep in the diaper bag for those random moments you want to capture! And I like being able to take quick little video clips. I'd like to get a new "cheap" camera before the girls are born! I'm looking for something $300 or less. Something that takes good video clips (I wasn't too thrilled with the video quality on the one I had, if it wasn't SUPER BRIGHT the videos came out really dark). And lastly, I want it to be small, something that can easily be stored in the diaper bag with all the other goodies. If you have a camera that you like that meets these requirements please let me know! :) Thanks ladies!

    I just got the Canon PowerShot SD 3500 IS for Christmas. It is AWESOME! It takes great pictures and video, plus the HUGE screen is a plus :)

    I just got a Sony Cybershot for xmas and I love it so far....it's really small and thin which is nice b/c it can be stored anywhere without taking up a lot of space.

    I had 2 Canon Digital Elphs now (dropped and broke the first one) and LOVE them!
