Kathy mentioned that you've bought used cameras from Adorama.  I'm buying a D3000 and found a refurb (body only) for $299.95.  I love the price but a refurb makes me a little nervous.  WDYT?  Would you buy it?

    I bought the highest rated used camera for my style (Canon 40D). I'm thinking maybe Christie got a refurbished Canon 40D though? I don't remember, but you should ask her. I will say my used is great and didn't look used at all and I haven't had any issues with it. I can't speak for the refurb-ed ones though but Adorama is a great place to buy from, too.

    Mine was a "demo" from Adorama, so it wasn't refurbished.  But I will say, when I was doing my research, a lot of people were unhappy with Canon's refurbished cameras.  I'm not sure about Nikon though.  Have you looked at the used ones?
