Upstate NY Babies

*MelissaSue & June4Bride2be*

Alright, you ladies talked me into it. I signed up for Amazon mom & amazon prime. Thanks for the good advice I scored a couple big boxes of pampers for the twins reeeally cheap. I've been picking up little packs here & there until I realized we're going to need like 20'ish diapers a day... much easier to have them delivered in those numbers :)

  • sweet! Were you able to get any coupon codes from parents or parenting? I haven't bought diapers in the store since the summer when the amazon thing started.. Its great.. And I have free 2 day shipping on  anything on Amazon thru like April now.. It was great for christmas.

Nope. I get Parenting magazine too and searched for codes but didn't see anything. It was still a good deal without the code. If I get a code in next month's issue I'll just start stocking up on size 1's :)

  • Nice! I am good through April too, thanks to Christmas shopping! I have 1 code left, waiting until Jan to use it.....I have cases upon cases of diapers downstairs! My step mom keeps giving me pampers coupons from the paper, I haven't told her I don't use them anymore. I will be ordering from Amazon as long as they are so cheap and I have a kiddo in diapers!

    Glad you jumped on board!

  • Hope it's ok...I'm jumping in for a minute.  Can you tell me about these good deals? I haven't heard about this program before.  I'm contemplating doing cloth diapers with this one just to save us money, but DH still isn't totally on board.  If I can get really cheap diapers that would be great!
  • This link is the terms and condtionshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=mom_QL_terms?ie=UTF8&docId=1000535351&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=left-1&pf_rd_r=0JH1SXTQ1R21QNK1WGE7&pf_rd_t=9401&pf_rd_p=1274569502&pf_rd_i=amazon-mom-edit-info

But in short.. As long as you buy diapers (most major brands are included I think) and sign up for "subscribe and save" you get 30% off every diaper and wipe purchase.. I always just order them subscribe and save and cancel the subscription after I get the diapers..

There have also been some coupon codes in Parents Magazine and Parenting the Early Years magazine for an additional 20% off so it comes to close to 50%..so like a big box of pampers that is like $40 at BJs or something are about $20.. and no shipping. You might save tax too, but in NY we have to pay tax from amazon, but i have heard most states you don't.

OH.. and the big bonus is, you get a free amazon prime membership for 3 months and with every $25 purchase you make that gets extended 1 month, up to a year. So you can get free 2 day shopping on anything amazon sells.. which is pretty amazing.

Its worth it to sign up for it, even if you don't buy anything you can still get the free 3 months of free 2 day shipping. And its free to sign up.
