Missing toy pieces already - gah!!

Two days after Christmas.  Really DD - you have to lose letters for the Fridge Phonics?  I want to laugh, but I'm annoyed.  Not at DD of course, just at the fact that I am driving myself mad looking for the letters and cannot find them.  Yep,even dug through the garbage.  I'm probably a little ocd about this, but it drives me crazy when pieces go missing - especially with brand new toys.  I even checked LPs website - they don't sell replacement letter.  Boo.  I was very carefull to buy all of DD's xmas gifts on sale - especially the Leapfrog toys, cause those can get pricey.  The Fridge Phonics was the only one I bought for full price - because she liked it so much at SIL's house.  And she does love it... we're just missing letters already.
 
I know they will eventually turn up - just like every single block for her wooden shape sorter, and every single ring for her multiple wooden stacking sets, and every single block in her ABC blocks did last night as I was cleaning out her toy bin in the living room.  Lemme tell you, I was shocked that it was all there because a month or so ago half the pieces were missing.  But that doesn't mean I'm not going crazy over this right now.

    I totally understand.  2 days and we're missing 2 spoons and 1 cup from the dishes set, half of a cow and a whole pig from the fridge farm, and a ton of felt food.  Methinks some ended up in the garbage as DS loves to throw stuff away.

    Drives me crazy too! DD1 got Squinkies for an early Christmas present from some friends and within 2 hours 3 were missing. They eventually turned up, but now 2 of the bubbles are missing. And she even got 8 more packs- of 16 in each pack for a total of 144 Squinkies! I just know I'll be counting them each and every night and will be insane by Wednesday because meny will be missing!!!! UGH!!!

    We have the fridge phonics and DS loves it.  Pieces go missing all the time.  Have you checked under your stove?  That's where DS found a couple pieces last week.

    Our oven is built in, so not there.  My pregnant ass has spent most of the morning crawling around the kitchen, living room, and her room looking under everything.  lol  I've got to get over this.  haha

    We are also missing our "V" from the fridge set. Guess DD will learn the ABCs without the letter "V".

    We are always missing and finding toys. I know they have to be here somewhere... but I'm too lazy to look under the couch and William's crib lol.

    I'm glad I am not the only one so OCD about losing pieces. I am constantly trying to track down missing pieces of toys. I started thinking, "Am I the only mom that cares this much?". DD is missing a spoon from her kitchen set already and I have searched high and low all day. The search continues...
