Has anyone done this? I know it does help with creating more cervical mucus. Does anyone know how much and how many days before your "fertile week" you should take it?

    I haven't done it but the way I always understood it is you'd take it AF til O (not sure here) and you just take the recommended dosage on the box.

    I think for Mucinex/Robitussin you are only supposed to take it the 5-6 days prior to O. I have the 600 mg Mucinex pills and will be taking one a day during those days.

    I tried the robitussin thing for two cycles and nothing. I found the directions online. It was for a few days around O. The month we got pregnant was crazy, we werent trying and I was sick and on mucinex around O. I don't know if it was the mucinex or the decrease in stress of obsessing about TTC.  Good luck.

    Mucinex does NOT increase EWCM. It thins out existing CM. It will not turn creamy to EW. It will make extra thick EWCM thinner and more friendly. It 1 tablet 2x/day the week leading up to O. Make sure to buy the plain mucinex with the only active ingredient Guaifenesin
