Great appointment this morning!

I had an appt this morning and they immediately found the hb on the doppler. I was excited because with my tilted uterus they always warn me that we may not hear it. (I think it helps that this is my 3rd pregnancy this year and my uterus has stretched back out way earlier than normal!)

Anyway the heartrate was at 170. It was such a nice sound.

We scheduled the nt scan for two weeks from today. I am so anxious about it. My dr keeps assuring me that "lightening won't strike twice" and everything will be fine. I want to believe it, but I am sooo nervous! I just want to get through that appt and hear that everything looks normal. Then we can comfortably start telling our friends and the rest of our family.

Hearing that little heartbeat is the most amazing sound ever! I was super nervous before my NT scan but everything looked great, and think of how cool it will be to see little one for a while up on the screen

So did you find something negative at one of your previous NT scans?

So did you find something negative at one of your previous NT scans?

Yes. My husband and I were expecting our third son earlier this year. The nt scan showed the fluid measurement on the back of the baby's neck was way out of the normal range. After an amnio we found that he had a chromosome disorder. We lost him at 17 weeks and 5 days.
DH and I have gone through genetic testing and neither of us have this disorder. They assure us that it was a spontaneous mutation of the chromosome, but we are so nervous that it will happen again.
