So this is CD1 of our 3rd month ttc, and I convinced DH that if we got to the 3rd month, I should be allowed to make a "fun" purchase. I definitely did my research before we started ttc and tried to explain to him that conceiving isn't as easy as his mom has always told him. (My MIL still SWEARS she conceived all four kids of her kids the first day she stopped taking BCP, which obviously isn't true, but he was still convinced that he has super sperm or something.)

Anyway, I have read TCOYF and have just completed my first month of charting on FF. So, should I should purchase some opks, pre-seed, or a VIP membership on FF? I know that all three have their benefits, but is there one that you ladies would recommend over the others? TIA!

I'd go with OPK's. Pre-seed is a close second.

Is there a dollar amount you need to stay under/around? You can get OPKs for dirt cheap. Either the $ store or on Amazon (40 OPKs and 10 HPTs for $12). Pre-seed you can also order for cheaper on Amazon.

Of those 3, VIP FF is probably the least "worth it"

I've definitely been leaning towards OPKs. DH hasn't set a dollar amount, but I did get a $25 amazon gift card for Christms so I might try to use that. Are there any OPKS you would recommend or stay away from on Amazon? I'm using the Wondo hpts from Amazon and haven't had any complaints. Should I go with the same brand of OPKs?

I vote preseed and OPK. Like PP said buy on Amazon and get both if you can cheaper! GL

My vote is OPKs. Maybe splurge and get pre-seed too?

DH and I just did the exact same thing. We're on our 3rd cycle ttc and wanted to by something to help out. We went with the 20 pack of Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests and multi-use tube of Pre-Seed from Amazon. I'm only on cd5 and just finished spotting so we'll start using them soon. GL to you!

Am I the only one who thought "fun" meant a bedroom toy? No, nothing?! Ok, I vote OPKs too. I got 20 CBE Digitals for $26. I like the digitals because you don't have toworry about how to read them. Plus it's fun to see smiley faces
