I'm looking to fly with my twins by myself in April. They will be about 8 months old at that time. Flight will be direct, about an hour and a half long. I figure I could wear Oliver and get the seat next to me for Violet, put her in a single snap n go with a carseat attached and then put her in the carseat in the seat next to us. Is this legal? I know they have rules about oxygen masks and stuff like that so not sure I can even have 2 infants in 2 seats. Anyone try this and have tips or advice? TIA for any input.
Re: Anyone fly alone with infant twins (8 monthsish)?
I've never flown with the twins, only with DD1. There are 4 oxygen masks per row, so that's a limiting factor for some (like us - we couldn't all sit in the same row). I would probably call the airline and ask before you buy your tickets. Your plan sounds reasonable to me, but I'd call to be safe.
I do know, though, that most airlines won't let you wear a baby during take off or landing. You can have them on your lap, but they can't be strapped to you.
