Itchy rash in armpits?

I have a really itchy, bumpy, rash confined almost exclusively to my armpit area.  It's spreading a little bit towards my chest.  I haven't changed anything lately....no new soap, detergent, fabric softener, razors, deoderant, etc.  Hydrocortizone or benadryl would help maybe?

    I had this and it was so frustrating, I couldn't stop itching my armpit. Come to find out it was a yeast infection!  So idk if thats what yours is, but thats what mine was.

    Me too! More on one side than the other...I look really pretty and lady-like scratching my pits all day. Stick out tongue

    Its probably just irritation, but show it to your OB next time you're in. Could be a staph infection.  Also, if you shave, clean your razor with rubbing alcohol before each use.  Kills any bacteria (including staph) that can infect your hair follicles or little cuts and cause these types of irritations, infections and ingrown hairs. 
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    I had the same problem and shaving less (I don't mind since it's winter) and using cortisone helped.  Mine spread to my chest too, and also my neck, so I'm still dealing with that.  Nothing is really working though.  Hope you get some relief soon!
