cold weather PJs

We have a dilemma: when DD was a small baby, we just swaddled her in blankets or used sleep sacks for cold nights.  Now, however, she does not like having blankets on her and isn't going to enjoy sleep sacks either since she's mobile.  Her room gets pretty chilly and I know her snap-up and zip-up cotton PJs aren't going to cut it, even with the heat on.

I'm going to look for some fleece-type PJs later today.  Any other ideas?

  • Last winter we really liked the Carters fuzzy zip up sleepers... got them at JCPenney, but they are all over.

  • I think I have seen fleece pjs at children's place

  • Kohl's usually has a decent selection of the warm pjs, including the fleece ones.

  • For the really cold nights (Mia's room gets chilly too) I often just put hte cotton PJs on her and layer another shirt and some of those soft elastic pants.  And socks and she's fine.  So she has 2 layers on.  That way you don't have to go buy a ton of extra stuff.  :)

Ah-ha! I hadn't thought of that yet -- good idea!
