DH and I are at my parents house for the holiday and decided to stay for the blizzard. Thankfully my m/s has not been too bad yesterday and today so I have been eating at all my meals. Well today I took a nap and woke up at dinner time, except that I woke up with a tummy ache and wasn't that hungry, so ate a few spoonfuls of the chicken stew my Mom made and then passed on the rest. Well now I am hungry but don't want the stew so I made myself a snack of peanut butter and apple slices. Well my mom rolled her eyes and made lots of comments about too many carbs at once and my bad eating habits. ::eye roll:: It is not like I am feeing myself/baby McDonalds or other crap, it is a healthy snack with protien! And I had a full breakfast (eggs/hash browns/toast/OJ/sausage) AND lunch (sandwhich) today. Lay off Mom!

apple and PB??? That's one of my fave snacks and I think it's prolly the healthiest snack I've ever eaten. Geez!!!
I don't have that problem with my mom or MIL - they are both overweight and have no willpower when it comes to eating.
