Try the Herbal Cleanse from Advocare. I loved it! I actually did the 24 day challenge and felt great afterwards. Below is a link to purchase any of the Advocare products.
Cleansing is generally not a great idea. The last poster is likely a vendor considering that she only has 3 posts and if you click on them it says "user not found." I agree with the other posters about eating clean. In a few days of taking out processed foods, you will notice how much better your body feels.
Traditional "cleanses" (as the PP mentioned) are generally not very safe and rarely have scientific literature to back up their effectiveness or usefulness.
However, if you're looking for a sort of "kick start" to get healthy. Kind of a clean slate idea - there are many things you can do.
For example, for one week you could:
- Cut out all processed food.
- For drinks, make it ONLY water or tea.
- Go for a long walk everyday.
- Do yoga every morning
- Get at least 8 hours of sleep every night.
Doing these things alone are a better jump start than any cleanse. And perhaps they'll get you into some good habits that stay with you longer than the week.
I do remember Whole Living magazine had a version of a "healthy cleanse" last year. It was mostly the same idea (eat whole foods, smoothies, etc). The website is www.wholeliving.com. I'm sure you could search on their site and find it.
You won't find a "good & healthy" one in a box, so save your money. Look into clean eating, as others have said. My blog is designed around what clean eating looks like for our family.
Re: Rec a cleanse
Look into "eating clean" - cut out all processed foods. That's the only healthy cleanse out there.
