I may kill FIL

in Pregnant after a Loss

if he doesn't leave before the snow starts.. otherwise we're going to get stuck with him here (he has to go back to New Jersey).  He bought DD a Hello Kitty LAVA LAMP.. which was fine, haha.. but he went and plugged it in her bedroom (unplugging the monitor.. which we don't use at this point.. but NOT the point).  Okay.. a three year old doesn't need a lava lamp and those things get so HOT!

Ugh.  And if that wasn't enough.. over Thanksgiving he was complaining about our downstairs shower and said he was going to be buying us one of those that is attached to a hose because he likes those better (side note: past christmas presents have been an ottoman for his feet so he's comfy and a large lamp for reading because we don't have enough light)   I told him NOT to do it because we had just remodeled the bathroom and liked our fixtures.

Guess what was under the tree this morning?  Bastard even tried to install it while I was busy in the kitchen cooking.  Yes.  Cooking.. but apparently not fast enough because he also ordered chinese food and neither him nor DH were hungry enough to eat until about 8 pm tonight.. you know.. when the meat was completely overdone and unedible.

I really hope this snowstorm doesn't materialize.  Otherwise I'm going to curl up in my footie pajamas and cry.  At least I'll be warm.

    I'd beat the sh!t out of MH if he ate the chinese food when he knew that I was cooking dinner.

    Ugh! I would kill him too! Why do people feel the need to do what they want without respecting the wishes of the people who actually live in the house. And who buys stuff for themselves to use while visiting at someone else's home? Really? Wow, you are a stronger person than I am. I hope you don't get snow either, for your sake!

    This kind of sounds like my one of my SIL, she buys things for Christmas and my FIL 2 days after christmas saying they are for my FIL house. When in reality when she comes to stay they make her staying easier.

    This. Except I'd beat him with the fixture. If he doesn't like the way your house is or the "accomedations" in it, he can either do holidays at his place or stay in a hotel!
