I'm a 1st timer and kind of a worrier by nature. I know every pregnancy is different, even different pregnancies for the same woman. That said, it's still hard not to be anxious when here I am 2 months in and I barely feel any different.
So far no m/s, slight fatigue, slight cramping, and swollen slightly sore breasts. I took a blood test done on 12/6 which was either 23 or 16 DPO (not positive on which week I ovulated) and my HCG was 105. I didn't go back for another, I just wanted to make sure the home test was accurate.
I haven't really changed much since the BFP besides giving up regular coffee since I was already watching what I ate and exercising.
I don't see the doc until Jan. 3rd and I've convinced DH and I will get bad news when we have the u/s since I don't "feel pregnant". Any other ladies having similar anxiety?
Re: 8 Weeks today and no major symptoms
I just wanted to say welcome, and to tell you that my symptoms are very similar (and I've got two going in there). I was a little nervous that I was feeling nothing in the way of m/s. All I have is slight fatigue, swollen breasts, and some bloat. When I talked to my mom and sister last night, they both said that they did not have m/s for any of their pregnancies.
I am 7w1d right now. We had our 1st u/s at 6w4d and everything was completely fine. I just wanted to tell you not to worry because everyone's pregnancies and bodies are different.Thank you Jenny! It actually does make me feel better to know that you're having twins and still not experiencing all of the symptoms I keep reading about.
Good luck to you!!
I am due the exact same day as you are and I don't always feel pregnant either. So I would not worry. This is my first pregnancy as well. I am definitely experiencing fatigue (more than slight), some cramping, and slight bloating. I have not experienced full out m/s just slight queasiness that quickly goes away as soon as it comes. My first u/s is tomorrow, Monday. I am sure your appointment will ease your mind on Jan 3rd. Good luck!
Hello, I am not as far along as you- but am also not experiencing any "real symptoms" Just feel super tired, but no sickness, cravings, etc.
Maybe we will be lucky and not have any big symptoms!!
Same here! I am 8 wks today, and I don't think I have any symptoms really. Here is what I have noticed:
My sense of smell is stronger (but not all of the time)
Slight queeziness about 20 min after I get out of bed that goes away on its own almost within minutes.
I am not hungry until dinner time, not nautious, just not hungry throughout the day.
My first appt isn't until Jan 10th! Thank goodness for blue lines on sticks!

Marie - Same boat as you! I'm a tad over 8 weeks and I'm feeling pretty good. My morning sickness has subsided so I'm worried. But I know everyone is different. Lately my only major symptom is being tired so I'm also nervous. I have my ultrasound on Wednesday evening - praying everything goes well.
