Vaseline???

Is vaseline good to use as a lube while TTC?  We use pre-seed but it seems to dry out and lately, MH has had to get things started manually (feeling the pressure of having it be baby making sex) to help get the deed done.  When doing this, he uses vaseline.  Is it too thick?

    How much pre-seed are you using? For me, a little goes a loooooong way. There are other ttc friendly lubes it pre-seed isn't your friend. I think there's one called pre-conceive? Or something like that.

    I've never heard of vaseline being used as lube but I wouldn't think it's a good idea beause it IS pretty thick.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    :::::wave::::::: Hi Rhody!!!  This blizzard is CRAZY!!!  I cannot believe how much snow we are going to get.  I do wish it was during a school week because I wouldn't mind a snow day. Big Smile

    I have read that you should not use petroleum-based products as lube when TTC. They're not good for the vag or the sperm. I've read that some people use olive oil. Perhaps give that a shot if the preseed isn't working out. Yes, I just recommended olive oil as a lube. So sue me! :P

    Why not just apply some preseed to you so when he's ready you're good and ready too?

    and keep the tube near by for extra as needed.

    Southern NH.  I work in MA and the when the gov announces a state of ER I don't have to work, so that is the only reason I am happy about this storm.  Just hoping we don't lose power now Indifferent

    Me either!!  MH just brought up that we may lose power.  I really don't want to have to go out in the crap to get to my parent's house so we can stay warm.
