My friend who has 3 kids now had this and was selling it a few months ago. She posted the picture on FB. She may still be selling it? Not sure, I can ask if you want! She's in Evansville or else I'd say I could arrange for you to meet her in person to see it .
Okay I found on the Kolcraft site they are coming out with a new one called the Optima that's only 31 lb. I'm going to hold out to see it. Comes out in the spring sometime!
That's the one that I have. I found a good deal on it at OUAC.
The biggest thing we were worried about was fitting in my trunk (a Grand Am). It fits = SOLD.
We tested it out with Paige in the front seat and we really liked the way it handled. It's definitely an adjustment from a single stroller. It's like going from driving an Escort to driving a Suburban. But any tandem is going to feel that way.
The only thing that I don't love is that you have to take the seats off to fold it compactly. Not a huge deal, just another step that could be inconvenient when you have two little ones. They slide right on and off - it's easy.
I've seen others complain that if you have a tall toddler, they can quickly outgrow the front seat (the canopy is lower, and the foot rest is higher compared to other double models). It wasn't an issue with us and Paige is always >97% in height. Not to say that it won't be an issue when she's older, but it's ok for now.
