    I answered other. 1st cycle, no acu -bfn. 2nd cycle, did acu - chemical pg. 3rd cycle, no acu - bfp. So u am all over the place! Good luck on your cycle!

    Voted yes to acupuncture but wanted to add that I had started in March and had IVF in July. Also, I did not do it after transfer.

    I only did it for one of my fresh cycles out of five. It was not my BFP, but I know lots of ladies on here who did get there BFP & thank accu for facilitating it. Good luck!!

    IVF #2 - BFP - acu

    I don't think it made a difference in BFP, but definitely made a difference in my sense of calm and relaxation.

    Fresh IVF+ acupuncture= BFN

    FET+ acupuncture=BFP (I did a lot of things different with that cycle.)

    I also voted 'other'.  I started acupuncture when I started my BCPs for our IVF cycle.  The acupuncturist told me that was fine but that she preferred to start earlier to help the client get into the right health and mindset earlier.

    We got a BFN on IVF #1, but I continued weekly acupuncture until our FET #1, and got a BFP at that time.  I have continued acupuncture every other week and am slowly tapering off....although it feels like a break up. :)

    I did Acupuncture through out my entire DE IVF cycle and even though it failed I continued to do acupuncture. I can't say whether or not our surprise BFP had anything to do with going to acupuncture, but they say to give it 3 months and it was 3 months from the time we did our DE IVF till we got our surprise BFP.

    I do enjoy acupuncture and even if I wouldn't have gotten a surprise BFP I would still contiune to go.

    ? We can only appreciate the miracle of a sunrise if we have waited in the darkness... ?

    I voted for did acupuncture and got a BFP. However, I was doing acupuncture since my Clomid = TI cycles so I also got plenty of BFNs while doing acupuncture too. (see siggy)

    With our IUI's and our first IVF, I did not do acupuncture, but I did with our second IVF (before stims, during stims and immediately before and after ET). My first IVF, they only retrieved 2 eggs, both which did not fertilize with ICSI. We HATED our clinic and didn't trust our RE, so we switched for IVF #2, which yielded 21 eggs, 18 of which were mature and 17 that fertilized with ICSI. Do I think acupuncture gave us more eggs and led to our BFP? I definitely will not discount it at all, but I also know our new clinic and RE (who knew what they were doing) were the major contributing factors. Good luck sweetie! Fingers crossed for your BFP!! ETA: I also did other things differently for our BFP cycle (POM juice, pineapple core, etc.). The acu did help me relax and reduced a ton of my stress level :)

    I voted yes for acupuncture with a BFP.  I really think it helped with my "flow of energy" (I know this is crazy talk but it made sense) and got things ready in there.  Plus it helped with my stress A TON, and I think that also made a big difference.  I stopped doing my acupuncture (went once a week) a few days before my egg retrieval. 

    TTC #1 since 7/08 After 3 years, 2 losses, 3 rounds of IUI, and one round of IVF, we finally have our dream come true! DS born 7/30/11

    TTC #2 off and on since 7/12
