Indiana Babies

Why must my MIL do this?!? Vent.

She takes off ALL tags on clothes and opens all toys. She does this every year. All the clothes she got me are too big and the boys are too small. UGH! We literally have 8 pieces of clothing that we can not return to get the right size or exchange for something to our likes. Once again, we will just donate the stuff. Vent over.

  • I just found out that I CAN return them! I just asked a friend who is a mgr at Kohls and he said I can. :-)
  • Oh wow that would be super frustrating.  Does she know the stuff doesn't fit?  It just seems so impractical.

  • Some of DH's family do that too.  I think they do that just so I can't return it.  I don't see the point because 1. If it doesn't fit Isabella can't wear it and 2. I'm not going to put her in something totally fugly just because I can't return it.

  • How annoying!

We have the opposite problem.  FIL and stepMIL make sure the price tags are on all of our gifts. Kind of tacky Hmm

You're right though, Kohls will take literally anything back.

  • A lot of stores will still take back clothes, pj's etc. since those items usually contain the UPC code on the tag inside the clothes.  I have 2 pairs of PJ's I am taking back to Walmart that I don't have the tags on, but the inside tag contains the UPC and I do have the receipts.

She should know since she asked whart size everyone wears. That was 2 weeks ago, not last year. LOL.
