I have been on Norwegain and loved it. They were customer friendly and I loved the fact that your "tip" was already included in the price. Also, there is not a required formal wear night and you can sit where ever and with whom ever you want when you eat.

MH and I went on Carnival's 7-day Western Caribbean cruise that leaves out of Tampa. It goes to Grand Cayman (awesome place to swim with sting rays!), Cozumel (great place to scuba dive), Belize (we went to ancient Mayan ruins), and Island Rotan (fabulous place to swim with dolphins!). We had a great time ... not just because it was our honeymoon, but also because we loved each port and the activities we did. )

Ohhh, this is a good point. We did a Norwegian cruise once. DH wasn't impressed but I'm figuring it's the best option (and cheapest).

We went on NCL for our honeymoon and very much disliked it. I didn't care for the food at all. I have only done NCL and Carnvial and I much preferred Carnival. However Carnival is cheap so you get some real winners on the boat with you.
We did one from Tampa to Cozumel and Grand Cayman on Carnival. We loved it. We're going on another cruise in 2 weeks but this time from Port Canaveral to Belize, Isle Roatan, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. It's on Carnival as well. I know people say there are a lot of children on Carnival, and we saw a lot on the first cruise in the beginning, but once we set sail, they were gone - off doing everything else that was there for kids.
I'll be the minority opinion here and say that I truly was happy to get OFF the Carnival cruise my family once took. It was awful.
It's much more expensive, but I prefer Regent Cruises. But absolutely everything is included - so there are no additional costs and you aren't surprised by anything. I can't handle the crowds and masses on some of the larger boats.

DH and I are going on this cruise for our anniversary in May. Glad to hear the stops are fun. I really want to see the Mayan ruins.
Last year we did a 5 day out of Miami with Carnival. Half Moon Cay was great and so was Grand Turk. Nassau isn't too fun unless you pay $$ to go to Atlantis.

I went on RC and enjoyed it. We left from Tampa and went to Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico.
Have fun!
RC Oasis of the seas or Allure of the seas both of these ships are new and beautiful. There shows were very good also.
