Hi, everyone. Wanted to introduce myself. I'm Megan.
After having a miscarriage at the end of the summer and flipflopping over whether or not to resume TTC, DH and I decided to go for it in November. My LMP was November 7th, which should put me at 7 weeks today. I told my OB that I was pretty sure I ovulated late (she doesn't listen much when I talk about tracking my fertility or anything for that matter--I'm planning on transferring care soon). When I went in for my inital blood draw on Wednesday (supposedly 6.5 weeks), my beta came back at only 352. After what we went through with the last pregnancy, I, of course, freak out.
There was a lot going on and I was very lax with correctly charting that month so I'm not sure if everything is totally accurate, but my chart is saying I didn't ovulate until CD 30 (though I think it was actually CD 29). (What's really confusing me is that I don't have us marked down as having sex any closer than a week prior, but that HAS to be wrong. I must be forgetting a time, heh.) Going by those dates, I should only be about 5 weeks right now, and would have only been a little over 4 when I had my beta done. Those numbers would make sense. They can't confirm anything without another draw and an ultrasound, which were pushed back because of the holiday. I'm scheduled for them tomorrow morning and Tuesday morning, respectively, but now I'm worried the snow will interfere.
Needless to say, it has not been a relaxing Christmas. I just want to know what's going on in there.

We were supposed to be TTA for one more month and had we BDd 6 days before O and now we're just about 19 weeks pregnant.... I told this to my OB when I went for my first appt. and he said sperm can live for 9 days in "ideal" conditions- you may not having forgotten to mark and extra BD, that might be right.
anyways- good luck on your betas! Keep us posted
This could be us. DH has "super sperm".

Hahaha, I think my DH may too... The funny thing is that he had cancer twice as a teenager and was told he'd never be able to have kids naturally at all. Now, in the 2 years we've been married, we've conceived three times. I think instead of killing his sperm, it made them stronger. Like some sort of radioactive accident in a comic or something.
I'll definitely be back after we find out more. I feel much safer and more comfortable here than on 1st tri!
