Pedialyte for infants

Is there a different one for infants?  I tried searching google and everything I see says for ove 1 year. (i haven't searched super hard, but we're all sick here)

My H is running out to walgreens to look before the snow gets nutty,

How much do you give?  She's drank one bottle this morning, but has had diarrhea and has no interest in anymore bottles and it's already 2PM, so I'm nervous..

Re: Pedialyte for infants

  • it's the same, they all say ask your pedi for over one year. when riley was sick, we gave her 1/2 formula 1/2 pedialyte in her bottles. but our pedi said if she didn't want it mixed, we could give her 4ozs of pedialyte. hope she gets better soon!! we're getting hit with snow too... where are you guys?

  • Thanks...  In south central CT - we're supposedly due for the middle part of the storm.  I'm sooo glad I took tomorrow off work.  Especially with a sick baby!

Hope your LO is feeling better quickly

  • We do the regualar orange colored pedialite and it smaller amounts... usually 2-3 oz. every 2-3 hours. I found that Mr. D did take well to the larger amounts.
