DH and I didn't exchange gifts this year because of all the moving expenses and our current financial status. We agreed that if rumors end up being true and Verizon gets an iPhone (not holding my breath) then I'll get that because he got a Droid X earlier in the year.

But major fail on the wrinkle cream, Bea. Oy.

Oh that would be a world of hurt if he gave me wrinkle cream (and I didn't ask for it). Nothing too bad this year that springs to mind although DH did get something from my brother, who likes to send gag gifts -- a "HisStory" bracelet, telling the story of Christ. First off, DH would never wear a bracelet. Second, DH isn't religious (lapsed Catholic). It's intended to be a gag gift but we're not sure who to pass it off too. Probably will languish in the gift closet with the "I [heart] My Penis" magnet from a couple years ago.

Actually, I'd like to get wrinkle cream - I feel I need it! Estee Lauder is a good brand too. I am sure he didn't mean any offense.

No horrible gifts for me, DH gave me what I asked for, a Garmin 405 (running watch). Only small things from anybody else.

Nothing too horrible. My step-mom got DH a cheesy Christmas mug, but made up for it by getting me diamond earrings

To be fair, i'm sure he didn't mean any harm by it either, but then again .... We told each other what we wanted. He wanted a GARMIN and had mentioned earlier about a leather jacket....I found a leather jacket marked 70% off so got him both. I told him I wanted an ottoman for the bedroom, but got anti-wrinkle cream instead.....I'm pretty lenient and usually happy with anything, but oy! Stick out tongue

I'd told DH I wanted some nice lounging pants and sleepshirt set. He got some god-awful old lady crap from Walmart... in 3x!!!!

He said he looked at the size in one of my other old pairs of pajamas. "Oh, you mean the ones I bought when I was desperate for something to wear when I was 8 months pregnant????"

Yeah, they're going back.

SIL got Ellie a doll named Ellie. It is about the creepiest, most Chuckie looking thing I can imagine, plus it has a huge tumor on its belly that when pressed plays jibberish - not even DH can figure out what it's saying. One thing in our favor is that SIL said we really shouldn't let Ellie play with it but instead keep it in the package in case it becomes a collectors item. I think that means it can get lost in the closet! Wink

Nothing horrible this year amazingly.

But, I have asked for flannel lounge/pajama pants for 6 years in a row for Christmas and birthday. For the 6th year in a row I did not get them. I have even printed out the exact 2 pairs I want and told them which store had them in stock. Still no pants.
