T's and P's please...and an update

We have made it 43 days in the NICU! Sophia is getting so big she is 3 lbs and 11 oz. She will be 34 weeks adjusted this week so she will try a bottle! Ella is still only 2 lbs 3 oz. She has had a rough week. Ella had a coartation that was non-symptomatic. It was being watched closely but we just needed her to grow to 4lb before they would operate to fix it. The operation would be at a more high tech hospital in town. We found out about this on Thanksgiving. She has done so well this month until this week. On Wednesday I was called by the cardiologist just to check in and say everything was going good and much better than expect and to have a merry christmas.  That night her blood pressure went out of control and her arms began to get red and swell. Her heart has started to show signs of struggling. We have had to ask to transfer the girls to the hospital where Ella will have her surgery but we find out tomorrow if they have room for 1 or both. They said they will do the surgery if she is less than 4 lbs but it will come with much greater risks. So please just pray that Vandy will take both girls (so I dont drive myself crazy going from hospital to hospital). and that Ella will be okay. THanks for being a great support and all your kind words this year!
