What's been most exciting about this pregnancy? Or, any funny moments to share?
Overall I'm most excited by how excited DH is - I knew he'd be excited but he's just more excited than I expected. Funny moment re: this -
I purchased the Uppa Baby Vista on sale based on a tip on the baby gear board. It came and H put it together that day (on a Friday). I woke up Saturday morning and I can see our lower level from our hallway upstairs. I heard singing - H was pushing the thing in circles around the house really fast - I could make out him singing "my baby mama mama" and in his best dorky white boy ludicrous impression he was also signing "my baby better than yours get out the waaay, get out the waaay" - again - he was pushing the thing full speed around the house. He thought I was still sleeping which made it funnier - and H is not a dancer - he looks like Elaine from Seinfeld - but he would stop every few seconds with the stroller and do this freaky dance - he's 6'5 and looks like Gumby when he's dancing.
I watched for a few minutes and couldn't hold it in - I burst out laughing and he stopped, looked-up, saw me, and turned bright red and just said "this thing has really good shock absorption" with a straight face - hoping I didn't see what he was doing. It was priceless and I'll never forget it - it still makes me laugh. I wish I had the video camera so I could have recorded it.
Oh, that's an awesome story, I can totally see it, LOL! ?

No funny moments really here, just bitter sweet ones. My DD is almost 3 and everyday she yells "Were gonna have a baby" and rushes me like a little football player attacking the belly. She hugs it and says hi baby I love you. It's precious.
I have the BIG reveal ultrasound in two days and I can't wait. I will package it in a box and we will open it on Christmas morning to find out as a family what we are having, if we are able to. Some babies do not allow it. Hopefully our baby does!
I haven't felt anything really yet. A few flutters here and there and nothing this past week. I was really sick and took Zofran to help and it didn't make a difference really. I've lost 12 lbs from the flu and morning sickness, which sucks. I can afford the 12 lbs though, so its okay. Can't wait until the 23rd to make sure everything is okay.
Question of the Week (QOTW): What's been most exciting about this pregnancy? Or, any funny moments to share?
Nothing so far - we aren't telling people about this baby until after our first appt. I'm too nervous after this summer's miscarriage. We're also avoiding some of the negative comments we're expecting to get for as long as possible (my MIL has told us REPEATEDLY that we're STUPID for even considering a baby at our age/stage). She'll be sure to voice that over and over and over again.
Meanwhile, in between utter panic, hubby is planning our "coming out" party - he's inviting the people who we're closest to for a dinner in January to tell everyone at once and in person.
Some pregnancy things I had forgotten about - m/s to the extreme, I 'remember' it but wow, I forgot how horrible it is (I have hyperemisis and even with meds I am nauseous 100% of the time and throw up several times a day). I had forgotten the vivid all night dream sessions - I wake up feeling like I've been entertained all night long instead of restful sleep! the plus side is the "sleep-gasms" HELLO!
Looking forward to leaving town tomorrow for our christmas hideaway - we'll be home on Sunday in time for my Monday morning appt.

Favorite part of being pregnant: watching baby's busy movements and just the general happiness and comments from strangers. I had no idea that so many people (men and women) love talking to pregnant women about their bellies!
