Leg Cramps.. NOT MY FRIEND!

I have had a few here and there but in the last week I have been getting them every morning.  They hurt so darn bad but this morning topped them all.  Everytime I thought that it was gone and would relax it would come back with a vengance. OUCH!

  • Stretch your legs out and point your toes toward your face.  It may seem like it will make it worse, but it actually helps.

  • I've been getting them during the night all this week. Yuck.

  • I've been getting them for about a month and a half.  They used to wake me up at night.  Now, if I wake up and move, they will come about.  It really sucks, but I've learned to live with them.  Just point and flex your toes and they'll go away.

  • i started getting these too when i was about 30-35 weeks and my midwife/chiro suggested taking magnesium before bed as a part of your prenatal and it works, i can definitely tell if i don't take them i wake up with cramps in my calves. good luck!
  • I was going to suggest calcium, which my midwife suggested last pregnancy.  I sure notice when I skip it (and am fine when I don't!)  Hate those cramps!
  • I got them towards the end of my 1st pregnancy & have been getting them again lately... Try drinking more water. I notice I get them more when I am dehydrated.
