Anyone have beta somewhere other than RE?

I did a long distance ivf. My beta is Monday and I'm trying to figure out best place to do it. I don't want to have to wait multiple days. Not sure if I should go to LabCorp or my ob-gyn. Called their office and they are closed today. Tia

    My RE is an hour away, so I always have my beta's done at the lab in my local hospital.  For me, all the lab requires is a lab rec from my RE (with STAT written at the top).

    I recommend you call in advance and make sure they'll do stats for all tests ordered. I learned this the hard way, twice. With IVF#1, I went to my local Quest who said "Oh, we don't do stats here, but here's the location you can go to." and so I went to them. Then for IVF #2, I went back to that same lab, but this time the RE had ordered progesterone. and estradiol. The lab would do the beta stat, but NOT the P or E. I ended up going to the hospital outpatient lab after a wild goose chase.

    We did our last two betas with our Medical Group's labs.  We had to wait overnight for one and the other we got the same day.
