I want to do something fun to ring in the new year.  I was just going through my 2010 calendar and it was depressing! 

My bff and her hubby want to do something, but we have no ideas.  What are you ladies doing to celebrate the new year?

    We're going to a friend's house for a party, which we do almost every year. Since we're on the west coast, we start celebrating early by opening a new bottle of champagne and toasting midnight in each time zone until it gets to us. It's fun.

    I don't know what to suggest for the 4 of you, don't know your area, but GL!

    We're having a bunch of people over.  YOu could have them over or go to their house, make a nice dinner, drink good wine and play fun board games while you watch the ball drop.  Or, we've had lots of luck going for a late dinner to one of our local favorite family owned Italian places.  After dinner we hung out in the bar and rang in the new year with everyone.  It was fun and nice b/c it wasn't a chain where the wait staff didn't want to be there.  KWIM?
