Not what I was planning
This time last year I had dreams of having baby's first Christmas or being nice and big and pregnant... specifically too pregnant to shovel the driveway.
This year I started Christmas Eve at the fertility clinic giving blood and visiting the vag cam.
Part of me is very mature and just so grateful for everything that we have (my loving DH and insurance that covers IF treatments), but part of me wants to crawl into a cave and bah-humbug my way through the festivities. Especially when surrounded by babies and pregnant ladies.
I don't want to feel that way. I am blaming the drugs. :-P
TTC #1 Off of HBC December 09 Dx PCOS, no ovulation, HSG + SIS normal 9/4: 100 mg clomid + ovidrel trigger: BFN 10/15: Gonal-f (75 IU, 112.5 IU, 150 IU) + ovidrel trigger + IUI: BFN 11/15: Gonal-f (112.5 IU) + ovidrel trigger + IUI: BFN 12/17: Gonal-f (112.5 IU, 150 IU): cycle canceled due to no response IVF #1: 1/18 start BCP, 2/1 start Lupron, 2/10 start stimming, 2/20 ER, 2/15 ET, 3/6 beta 1: 216, 3/8 beta 2: 420 *saifw*

I hear you. I figured I'd be celebrating the past 2 Christmases either pregnant or with a baby. I just got back from the fertiliity clinic to have my blood drawn for beta. Hopefully, this cycle will bring both of us our BFPs and BFPs to everyone on this board. GL!
IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer
Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

i'm sorry sweetie. this time of year is tough, especially when you are in the middle of a cycle.
i hope this cycle is it for you and that next year you will be too busy caring for your baby that you won't be able to shovel the driveway

Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!
