Is my LO the only one that has absolutely no interest in watching TV? It's not like I want her to watch it all the time but I'd love for her to watch sesame street for 20 minutes so I could get a few things done...but she just has NO interest.

She is still very young, she will get the hang of it a little bit later. She may not like Sesame St. in particular. Have you tried Thomas the Train?

Mine has none except for Wheel of Fortune. The tv is usually on at our house and she never looks at it.

Trade ya. Charlie is OBSESSED with the TV. He just stares at it any time it's on.. no matter what is on it. DH rigged it now so we can have the audio on through the stereo and we can turn the TV itself off so I can at least hear the news, etc.

S won't watch t.v. either unless I strap him into his highchair for mealtime and park him in front of it then he'll watch for a few minutes. Watching t.v. requires sitting still, something he doesn't do well...

Margaux is very interested in her little signing videos, she gets all excited. I have to watch it with her, though. Anything else is "meh," and we're relieved! We were worried she'd be glued to the tv while we were visiting, but nope.

I've just recently started putting the TV on and moving the coffee table so that she can't attack the tv and the tv stand. It leaves room to play in front of the tv. I've tried putting on kids shows to see if she'd be interested but not so much. She does, however, like games shows where people laugh and clap. : )

We never have the TV on as Sarah is really interested in it and we don't want her to watch TV. For example, when we go to a restaurant that has a screen, she is mesmorized.

I'm the bad momma here who actually lets DS watch TV and he LOVES it.

Yo Gabba Gabba

The Fresh Beat Band (the songs mesmerize him)

Dora the Explorer

I totally use Fresh Beat/Dora (on Nick Jr.) as a distraction so I can make dinner. And Sesame Street is on in the morning while I eat breakfast and have coffee. Otherwise I'd never eat breakfast.

Ellie used to avidly watch her Baby Einstein videos and this show we recorded from HBO called Classical Baby. We would put in one video each day while I made dinner and it was a reliable way to keep her in one place. Now, not so much. I have tried tempting her with videos while nursing and she just isn't interested. She got into Wonder Pets for a short while when we were on vacation but that faded away, and now she will watch Dora if you put it on while she's in her booster seat at the table for breakfast or lunch. I too would kind of like to be able to use it to get her dinner ready or while I'm nursing Noah but she just isn't that into it. Most of the time if we have the TV on she will ask me to turn it off!

The only shows Sienna likes is Barney & MickeyMouse Club. If I put anything else on, she keeps saying no until I change it. But she will only watch 15 minutes before she loses interest.
