I don't think so. I think I heard it takes a little longer to digest but wouldn't count on it. We have been giving a bottle of BM right before and stuffing him, it's gotten us 4 hours!

Fiction. Sleeping habits are developmental and babies will sleep longer when they are ready, some are just earlier than others. FWIW, our DD is FF and does not sleep any longer, in fact she is still up every 3 hrs at night, she has given us a few 4-5 hr stretches but nothing regular. We also have to put some rice cereal in her bottle 2x per day per her pedi due to acid reflux issues and this doesn't make her sleep more.
That's what worked for us. When we were BFing, DD would only sleep 2 hours at a time. After we switched to formula she instantly went to 4 hours and then I started adding an extra 1/2 scoop to the just before bed time bottle and now she sleeps from about 11pm to 6:30am.. most nights. I say try it, all babies are different.
