Middle names for Gavin and Lucas?

Hi Ladies, we've decided our twin boy's first names will be Gavin and Lucas - but I can't think of any good middle names. All of the names we like don't seem to sound good so I need help!

Any thoughts, my DH is absolutely no help! The last name is short and starts with a D.

    Do you want their middle names to be the same or different?

    I love your names!!  So cute together and not matchy matchy!

    Off the top of my head:

    Gavin Andrew, Gavin Robert, Gavin Thomas, Gavin Lee, Gavin Troy

    Lucas Michael, Lucas Hunter, Lucas Tylor, Lucas Benjamin...

    If it sounds good you could give one of them your maiden name as a middle name. Or possibley a family name of each of your Grandfather or brothers.

    I am with Annette on this.. I love family names.  Either lost maiden names, which is what my name is, we gave it to Mason as a middle name to keep it going.  What about first or middle names of grand-parents, or uncles?

    I kind of like where Pixel was going with the more traditional middle names.  Gavin and Lucas aren't weird names or anything, but I don't think of them as uber traditional so they sound nice when paired with a more traditional name IMO.  I LOVE Gavin Thomas.

    If we had a boy we were going to have the middle name as Robert, my father's name.  Are there any male figures in the family you'd like to honor that way?  :)
