Piddle Poodles toddler size Q...

How big are they really?

Ds has been out of cloth at night for a while because he was leaking through everything and I had other things I needed to focus on. Now I want to get him back in night time cloth! I want to use a fitted with wool. I've done GMs with 2 hemp doublers and wool but still had leaks. The GMs just have too short of a rise. Ds is tall - at least 32 or 33 inches now at 8 months. He is 19 lbs but wears larges (even though he doesn't meet the weight).

Do you think PP toddler size would be a good option?

Re: Piddle Poodles toddler size Q...

  • I think it definitely would be good in the rise.  We can still fold the rise down a bit and can't fit in things like BG organics anymore.

However, I don't think its a suitable night solution.

Have you tried the SBish at night?

I used the sized fitteds with all the inserts.

  • Darn! They're only doing pre-orders now. If I order now I wouldn't get them for another month. Any other ideas?
  • We use the toddler size PIddle Poddle during the day and at night.  At night I use an AFFF hemp insert with fleece stay dry liner covered with upcycled wool longies.  DS is 36lbs, a heavy wetter and sleeps 12-13 hours.

Here is a comparison of the toddler piddle poddle and a GM that I took:

  • Look at that big beautiful rise! I think I have to get one now. Ds likes to sport some crack with most of our current fitteds Embarrassed  When we visited family in CA my 15 month old niece even said "Baby Bliss, crack. Fix crack. Thanks." I'm pretty sure that's the only thing I heard her say other than no, I'm hungry, and mine.

Since SBish is out of the question at the moment I think I'll pick up a PP and try adding some hemp to it.
