My non-parent friends make me sad

They're all in town for the holidays.  I just got a text that they are getting together for drinks in an hour.  They forgot to tell me sooner.  Yeah... I can totally arrange a sitter by then.  A-holes.

    Sorry, DND. When I move to Texas, I promise to always give you enough time to get a babysitter, or arrange for mine to watch your babes too. :D

    This happened to me this week too!

    One of my friends was coming in from *England*, for only 1 night, and sends out a facebook invite the day of! WTF. :(

    My friends told me they were going out tonight, then canceled a few hours later, BOO.  I wish someone would call me and tell me to go somewhere!

    We're at the ILs for the holiday and I haven't been around online much, but DH and I went out with some of his HS friends last night.  I had THREE margaritas!  Woot!

    Actually, no!  They weren't super strong, but they were $1.99 each.  I had the first one while we were waiting for an HOUR to get seated, then had the next 2 while eating.

    DH's friend had a 6 week old baby.  I cannot believe Em was ever that teeny.
