Merry Christmas from AF (TMI)

So I must have done something to Mother Nature because I think she & my body are trying to kill me.  I haven't had a period in so long and even before it would be a day or 2 of hardly nothing.  I guess there is just soo much "backed up" that I was up every 2 hours last night, I had to go buy clothes yesterday at lunch and everytime I move I feel it.

I do have a silly question, is it normal to have clots & a lot of them?  Like I said I have never had anything like this before.

Merry F'ing Christmas to me from my jacked up body.

Re: Merry Christmas from AF (TMI)

  • Back before I was on any medication to regulate my cycle, I could easily go for 4+ months without having a period. When I would get it, it would be heavy and have lots of clots. It was miserable being at work on those days, because if I stood up, I felt like I had to RUSH to the bathroom or have a huge problem! Once I started seeing doctors about this stuff, I was told that was normal since I had months of lining built up - my body was getting rid of it. Have you talked to your doctor about maybe using provera or something to bring on a period regularly for you so you don't have the issue of being "backed up".

    Good luck, hon!

  • Yeah, I didn't have my period for 4 months and even though I was lightly spotting for 2 months straight in the middle of those 4 months, when af finally came I was terrified! I was bleeding through super tampons every 2 hrs with lots of clots etc. Now I am getting them a little more regularly with less drama and pain.
