Was at a cafe visiting with a friend, and a teen girl in a motorized wheelchair was sitting behind us. I could kinda hear her conversation with her buddy. It was really neat because she was texting and gossiping and she just seemed so cool and well-adjusted. It makes me happy to see kids like that-- I guess it just reminds me that, even if DS ends up in a wheelchair or on crutches, he still will be awesome, have friends and do regular teen stuff.
