Hi everyone,
I am due in April and wasn't sure when is a good time to find a daycare or pediatrician for the baby. I will need a full time daycare by the end of July. Also, any advice on choosing these two incredibly important items would be great.
Thanks for the guidance/advice, I don't want to jump the gun and waste my time but also don't want to be left in the dust if I wait too long.
Re: What to do when? Daycare, doctor etc
I would start researching daycares now. Some daycares will have a waitlist that you will need to get on if you choose to take your child there. Some of us girls on here live in the area and take our kiddos to daycare. Are you looking for some place in Noblesville?
As far as pedis go, you could start researching that now, or you could wait. I didn't do that too far ahead of time simply bc I didn't think about it. Some of us have pedis in the Fishers/Noblesville area and will give you recommendations. Will you be delivering at Riverview, Community North, Clarian North? That might impact who you want to choose if you want your pedi (or the on-call pedi for that office) to see your baby in the hospital.
Congrats on your little one!
I would love to find a daycare close to home since I'm traveling a lot with work. I live near Verizon in Noblesville. Any suggestions for daycares would be awesome.
As far as the pediatrician - I'm delivering at Riverview so I'm assuming I would want someone with practice privileges at that facility,
