Poop Gate in CO
Poor Rachel.....she has an ear infection so she is on Augmentin, which has given her diarrhea. She pooped 8 times yesterday and twice already today. So needless to say her little tushie is red and sore. Poor baby.
I tried to give her rice cereal yesterday and she wouldn't have it. She sucked in her bottom lip and kept turning her head from side to side. But she ate all of her bananas and is drinking her formula no problem.
And her second tooth is barely poking through her gums so I know that hurts too. I can't believe she has been so happy, well unless she is on the changing table that is...

Aww... poor Rachel! I hope she's feeling better soon.
And when poop gate ends, give her little tush lots of nakey time to clear up the redness. It helps.

Last month, Teagan was Augmentin and she got bad Diarrhea. The Pedi suggested we get a probiotic drop to help. I could tell a major improvement after the first dose. Here is what we gave her. You should be able to get it behind the pharmacy counter. GL!

We also fairly recently finished up augementin and used something similar to this and soy yogurt for the probiotics. The first few days were pretty explosive, but luckily she didn't get a sore tushie. GL
