Dh is a cop and just called me to say he dug deep in his cold black heart and let a couple go from a speeding ticket.
I asked him why.... he said they just found out a little bit ago they are expecting twins and were in a rush to go tell family. DH said they were clearly freaked out and excited. He said he knew the feeling and understood thier excitment.
when the woman shared her main goal is to make it to 38 weeks he answered... "well than i suggest you stop speeding and get some rest".
Then he refered her to the bump how funny!

A few weeks ago, one of our fine officers let me go as well. I think he saw the 3 (empty) baby seats in the back row and figured I needed a break. LOL I thanked him profusely.....
