Nursery question

Would it be weird to do the walls of the nursery in a steel blue color

image

If I'm doing up a gender neutral room? The other colors I believe would be tans and creams.

I think it would be beautiful...but I don't want people coming over and saying "Oh so you're having a boy"

I personally do not associate that color blue with boys...but maybe I'm the only one.

  • hmmm To be honest if I saw a nursery that color I would think boy, but, it also might depend on your other decor.  If you love it, do it anyways!

  • I've seen gender neutral ones in aquas and turquoise before.  If you like it, go for it!  I think that would be a good combo.

  • I say go for it, it'll be lovely! That said, you might keep in mind that I bought pink diapers before we even knew the sex, because I figure that the only way to break down nonsense traditions about what color means what is to actually do it, so I might not be the best person to ask.
