Nursery question

Would it be weird to do the walls of the nursery in a steel blue color

If I'm doing up a gender neutral room? The other colors I believe would be tans and creams.

I think it would be beautiful...but I don't want people coming over and saying "Oh so you're having a boy"

I personally do not associate that color blue with boys...but maybe I'm the only one.

    hmmm To be honest if I saw a nursery that color I would think boy, but, it also might depend on your other decor.  If you love it, do it anyways!

    I've seen gender neutral ones in aquas and turquoise before.  If you like it, go for it!  I think that would be a good combo.

    I say go for it, it'll be lovely! That said, you might keep in mind that I bought pink diapers before we even knew the sex, because I figure that the only way to break down nonsense traditions about what color means what is to actually do it, so I might not be the best person to ask.
