That is what my crazy-ass mil whined to me last night. Yep, as in she's the baby and I'm the mom. I calmly told her that I lost my daughter last month. Yes, I'm a biotch, but really, I can't believe she pulls this baby-talking crap. And to use the term "daughter" when she has to know I'm still hurting... Then, to top it off, she was upset because the dryer didn't dry her blanket all the way. We asked her if she had tried a different setting, and she started fake-crying. It's a freaky, freaky sound, and I may have said "that's disgusting" because I have a hard time controlling myself. I swear I am going to buy some adult diapers and throw them at her next time she pulls this sh!t.
End of vent!!!!
Re: MIL: "Mommy, when are you taking your daughter to see the lights?"
Personally, it sounds like you are being quite restrained. WTF.
I am sorry she is being so insensitive and just downright crazy.

ugh - she sounds like a real piece of work. Im sorry that youre having to deal with her.
This exactly.
Wow you are a saint. She is so wrong.
Thank you for letting me vent!!! She can get under my skin like no other. Normally our house is pretty peaceful, but sometimes she just goes about things the wrong way....
Really no words, M. It's disturbing on so many levels. You are a saint for putting up with what you do.
Ok, that's super creepy for any adult to say to any other adult. Then there are SO many other reasons for that to be wrong on top of the general. HUGS- I've thought it before and I'll think it again- you are a saint and a wonderful woman.
ps- totally love T's idea!
