Going to my MIL's for the night. Baking cookies with our neice and nephew and going to watch christmas movies until the kids go to bed. Then we are wrapping all presents and playing Santa.
I'm hosting my family for the evening. There will be 20 of us. What part of WV are you visiting? I live in North Central WV. I don't see many people on the boards from WV.

That sounds like a lot of fun. We spend Christmas eve with Dh's family and Christmas with mine.
Working 'till 1. Going home to bake and spend time with DH and LO for a few hours than go to the IL's for dinner. Church than back to the ILs to stay the night to open presents in the morning. SIL has shingles so I'm going to be freaking out every time she gets near LO... BAH! Christmas day we will be going back and forth from my grandparents to parents than back to my grandparents... I'm SO glad LO can sleep anywhere!!
DH and I started a tradition on our first Christmas together, where we buy a movie while we're out Christmas shopping that we both haven't seen yet and spend Christmas Eve alone watching it. No family and no craziness, it's so nice! So this year we'll be snuggling DD and watching A Christmas Carol (the new one with Jim Carey)!

I'll be baking cookies while FI is at work until 4pm-ish. Then we're going to his family's house for a Christmas party, their first time meeting our little guy.

Sounds like a busy day. I don't blame you for being nervous. I have told everyone that if they are sick to stay away.

thanks! but i'm not looking forward to the drive with possible snow showers. i still dont get why his parents dont drive down by us....................... yes they have three dogs to put somewhere for the weekend, but we have a baby and a sh!t ton of stuff to pack.
Gosh, I guess after helping at Santa's Workshop I'm going to go home, make myself a nice mug of hot chocolate, and then make Christmas cookies! Squuuuueeeee! I plan to make a special batch laced with Ex-Lax for that whore Skipper. LOLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Going to my mom's house for dinner and presents! This party is actually the only party that I am going to enjoy.
Hope you have a great time. I love times when I do not have to cook. lol
I hope you have a good time too! Are you excited to go home for the holidays?
I am excited to see everyone. We have not been home in 3 months. I am a little nervous about DS being around everyone, but I a sure I will be fine after a few days. I am very excited for H's grandmothers to see DS. They didn't make it up when he was born.
DH works until 1, and he's taking DD since it's his last day and it's his dad's company. Then we'll spend the afternoon together, going to his aunt's for supper, then going to church with his family (where DD is being baby Jesus!) Then just the 3 of us will come home and we get to open 1 present from my parents (PJs), and we'll go to bed. Christmas day we'll spend with my side.
I'm getting sooo freaking excited!!
How cute that DD is being baby Jesus. I wish Dh would get on board with Christmas pj's. His family never did that. I told him when DS is older we will have Christmas Pj's. Matching ones if I can find them. lol
I am so excited too. Christmas is my favorite holiday.

I feel you. It is supposed to snow some in WV and I hate driving in it. I have also been packing and getting stuff ready all day( well when bug will let me put him down) I feel like we need to buy a bigger car just to go home for Christmas. I told H we are doing all of our shopping in WV next year and leaving it at his parents.

Read "The Night Before Christmas" to squirming, fussy infant. Try unsuccessfully to get said infant to bed for a couple of hours until he passes out from sheer exhaustion. Haul gifts out from hiding.
