what kind of gifts does dh get you?

DH always gets me gadgets like, this year a camera and a flip camera. While I love them and will definitely use them, I feel that they're kinda for him too sometimes. Once in a while I'd like to get something girly like perfume or clothes. So, does your DH get you girly gifts, gadgets or both?

The only girly gift I get is flowers. I don't wear perfume and I'm picky about clothes, so DH stays clear of those. When we do exchange presents, it's usually something gadgety for the kitchen or house or media such as blu rays.

Kitchen stuff I want, clothes, nice pajamas, books, coats, etc. One year he shocked me by getting me a diamond/sapphire ring! He doesn't usually buy jewelry.

This year, I bought my own presents. Usually we shop together bc we have a bit of a drive to do any shopping. So this year we got a few things together and then I did the rest of the shopping online. He mentioned that I should get slippers for Christmas, so I found a pair I liked on sale and bought them. I also got a few shirts. While he might surprise me with something else. I don't really mind. I'll be surprised by other presents and at least I get what I want. :-)

this is a running joke with us because my H is a terrible gift giver. Every.Single.Year he makes me give him a list with pictures of what I want for Christmas so he can pick one thing and give that to me, and Ever.Single.Year he doesn't get one thing on the list! LMAO!

Last year, he gave me a blender (we already have a fully operational blender) and hand sanitizer.

When we were dating he used to get me more jewelry, watches, earrings and more typical girly type stuff. Now I usually make a list or tell him what I want. He usually gets me something on my list and then sometimes some PJs from Victoria's Secret and then he fills my stocking with little girly things like a compact mirror, strawberry scented car air fresheners, lip gloss etc.

This year I asked for the Keurig and I think he also got me a new wallet (cause I accidentally saw the receipt!).

We don't like giving necessities so more often then not it's light sabers, star wars/star trek memorabilia, weird kitchen gadgets like an Enterprise pizza cutter or R2d2 trash can, cool mugs...stuff like that.

DH is the least romantic guy ever, but he rocks at gifts. Although it would seem he isn't listening, he remembers little things I mention in passing and files them away until my birthday or Christmas. This year he got me a new pair of pink fuzzy slippers and VS perfume. Both things I wanted but didn't ask for.

DH is big on gift certs- I know this year I'm getting a mani, pedi, and massage!

Gadgets as well- also getting a Flip camera.

And utilitarian things, like a winter hat and gloves that I need and will use.

He doesn't do perfume, clothes, etc usually unless I ask for something specifically.

I'm usually good about telling DH what I need. He usually gets me jewelery too. This year I'm pretty sure I'm getting new long-sleeve shirts, new bras (just weaned and my old ones don't fit!), slippers (standard gift for us every few years), and movies.

OH but I totally know what you mean about the gifts being for him.... For my bday DH bought me a 55 inch flat screen and surround sound. Uh huh. WE all know that was for him considering I didn't ask for it. lol

I have to admit that my husband is the best gift giver ever. He is always a diamond and other jewelery type guy. We don't tend to give gadgets for gifts but purchase them together instead.
