  My SIL has a Droid and she loves it.  So does my dad.  I haven't heard of any issues with it like my friends that have iPhones.

  Just don't do what my SIL did.  She bought one for herself and one for her boyfriend last month, and now has no money to buy anyone Xmas presents.  Can you tell that I'm bitter?

  I have an iPhone 3Gs, DH has a Droid X.  Personally, I like my iPhone better.  I think the operating system is easier to use, and the phone in general is more user friendly right out of the box.  The Droid X does have a much better camera, external memory capability, and a much larger screen.  There are a ton more Apps for iPhone, although Droid is catching up.  Maybe it is because I am used to my iPhone, but I prefer it over DH's Droid. 

  Oh, the GPS/navigation/Google Maps on the Droid is better than iPhone too.  Its pretty cool actually.

  I have the Samsung Fascinate and love it. Took me a day or so to figure it out but now that I have I like it much better than DH's iPhone. Although as a pp mentioned there are quite a few more apps for the iPhone. I would have to imagine the app market for Android will catch up soon.
