What are you assembling the night before?

If anything? We got DD a table and chairs set and it comes in a huge box. I'm not wrapping it because it'll take a whole roll of paper so I figured it would make sense to put it together the night before so that she can see it Christmas morning. SO just wants to leave it in the box and build it Christmas morning.

What are you doing if you have any assembly required gifts?

I'm a complete slacker and purchased nothing that needs assembly. I think it is a really good idea to put the table together ahead of time, though. She would look at the box and not know what it was, lol!

We got Leighton a kitchen and we are putting it together the night before...gonna sit down with a couple of beers and some appetizers and do santa stuff! lol

Nothing! I made sure that DH and I started putting DS's kitchen together a couple of nights ago so we wouldn't have to do it Christmas Eve. I didn't know how long it would take and I didn't want to be up super late wrestling with it. It was easier than I thought but it's done now.

Me-nothing. DH-DD's kitchen. However, he's at home doing it now since we are doing DD's "Christmas morning" on the 24th b/c of the traveling we'll be doing on the 25th. Figured we could get away with that this year b/c she's so young.

We started building DS' play kitchen out of an entertainment center last Saturday night. DH wouldn't get going on it and I couldn't take it any longer. Needless to say, we'll be working on it up until CHristmas morning.

I am pissed.

DS's train table. I'm actually going to have my parents keep him for a few hours tomorrow, so we aren't up late Christmas Eve doing it. I'll spend Christmas Eve, after he's gone to bed, stuffing stockings and making overnight stuffed french toast.

We bought G a trike and it would have been smart to assemble it prior Christmas day but I didn't even think about doing that until I read this post and its already wrapped up all pretty so its not going to happen.

We are going to be putting together his new tent/tunnel thing and basketball hoop. Other then that we got him books and blocks, small stuff. We figured we would put the cool stuff together because honestly at his age seeing the picture on the box isn't going to excite him like it will in a few years.

Nothing... I haven't time to assemble the kitchen and we had a dinner on Christmas eve, so we will arrive later and tired. I just wrapped the whole box.
