betas really don't tell you anything... there are women on here with multiples who had low/average betas... and women on SAIF who had super high betas and has singletons.
My singleton and twin betas were very similar at all points.

This.
For what it's worth, my betas were:
14DPO - 112
16DPO - 460
At our first u/s at 5w2d we saw two gestational sacs and two yolk sacs. Saw two hbs a week later.
Re: Beta at 5 weeks
I had a beta drawn at 5w2d and it was something like 12,000 and change.
Btw, I grew up in Lynbrook!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
11dpo = 29
15dpo = 123
17dpo = 274
I didn't have any betas past that, but had my first u/s at 5w1d.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
I didn't have one at exactly 5 weeks, but at 4w4d it was 714 and by 5w6d it was ~27,000.
However I've known quite a few people with higher early betas than that who had singletons.
My 5 week (on the dot) beta was 5000-ish. I can't remember the exact #.
