So after getting your recs for what HPT to try, I went out and bought FRER.  I tested again this morning with DH and got a BFN again.... so much for hoping the dollar store cheapie just didn't work for me.  DH let me cry on his shoulder, but said not to give up until it's official tomorrow.
So tell me now, anyone actually get BFNs on HPTs and then get a positive beta ending in a sticky take home baby?

I personally have not but I've seen it happen on this board before. I think etoyama was the most recent example of positive beta after neg HPT.
GL!! I really hope you get a wonderful surprise + beta!
Well, to find someone with a take home baby, you probably want to post on S/PAIF..
I did, however, get a + on a digi and a FRER the night before my beta, a - digi the morning of my beta and had a + beta. Mine ended in a chemical pregnancy but...I still did have a - HPT the morning of my beta.
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs

I tested at 14dpo on a FRER and got a negative. I did TI so I didn't go in for a beta but after a week later, still no period I tested again at 19dpo and finally got my+ and went in for a beta at that time.
I suffered a late loss, but the negative on the FRER had nothing to do with the health of the baby.

I am personally anti-poas. My thought is, why would they have you come in for blood work if they could get the same results that early via HPT? Just remember, it's not over until it's over! With that said, I know how much a stark white pee stick stings and I'm so sorry you had to see that!
Keeping evrything crossed for you!!
