    We don't know yet.  We think Elsa was our last, but DH is waffling.

    We would like to have one more. If we do then I will have my tubes tied since I will be getting a c/s anyway. If the second one does come in a few years then DH is getting snipped.

    The conversation about the snipping went like this. He ask do I have any choice? My reply, yes you can choose to have a doctor do it or I can do it at home. I already had one c/s a little snip won't kill him.

    I'm pretty sure we are done.  I want DH to get snipped, but he keeps hinting about having another one Indifferent

    I think I might get an IUD next month - just scared a little.  We'll see.

    DH volunteered to get snipped when we are done.  He refused to let me go on bc again after seeing how they affect me.

    I'll be having a repeat c/s when it's time for #2 so I'll have them tie me up while they're in there!  We're going to be 2 and done.

    Depends on what happens.. IF I somehow have to have another c/s (please god no), then I'd be tied while in there. if we were absolutely sure. positively sure.

    If I can have a vaginal birth, then we'll see - might just go back with Implanon (which I have in my arm now), for a few years just to be sure that we're done. Then when we're absolutely, positively sure, he'd probably get snipped. probably. we'll see.

    And may I add that after the surgery is done, the menfolk need to ejaculate like upwards of 40 times in order to make sure all the babymakers are outta there. What don't you like about prescribed ejaculation? Hee hee.

    The only thing that gets cut/severed forever in y'alls case is an umbilical cord!  You are talking about separating us from our manhood!  our back-up brain!!!!!!

    And I have seen Big Vs go VERY wrong!

    My wife and I have discussed long term BC...and will probably do Implanon.

    Why would I ever need to do that?  I've got a wife for all my needs...as she has me for all hers......

    I have an IUD now, as we're not planning on baby #2 until summer 2012.  With a wacky schedule of sometimes sleeping during the day, sometimes at night, charting wouldn't work for me during this time.  That would have been my first choice.  However, when we are done having babies, I'll likely go this route:

    I haven't seen anyone on here reference this type of sterilization.  In the 3 months from insertion until confirmation, I'll probably use regular BCP.  I'm thinking we'll do this when I'm about 40, just in case we decide for a 3rd.  But as of this moment, we're pretty set that we'll only try for one more baby.
