Parenting after 35

mama.bear

I guess someone up there thinks we are really strong mommy's to deal with all of this on top of surgeries!  I know that I am happy about the Celiac, but I do not understand the FTT??  It is so frustrating, my husband does believe they just want our money too.  I hope that the doctors can get you & Jason answers.  I know that it can take a while, because they have to keep ruling stuff out & it sucks! I will be thinking of you guys - & hoping for both of us better & healthier New Years!

  • I'm sorry to hi-jack your post below. Sad

You struck a sensitive nerve with a medical mystery that sounds too familiar. I pray 2011 will bring us both answers we need so our boys will thrive both physically and emotionally.

  • I get it!  I really wished you lived closer to me ; ( , I think we need to go out for a few glasses of whine!

Over the last week I found out that Keegan also has an IGA deficiency which has to do with his auto-immune system.. but typically it is not a big deal until kids are over 4.  But just another thing to think about.. but it got me thinking about Jason. I am assuming they checked Jason's IGA levels ; )  But the GI doctor told me not to worry about it at his age now.  They can level off - but are prone to more illnesses if they don't.

It's is so hard when they don't have the definitive answers we need especially after so much testing on our little ones.. I get that. in a small way I was hoping it was Celiac so we had something to blame.
